The Chester & District Chess League has been running since 1954. There are currently nineteen teams from ten different clubs competiting in three divisions and one handicap knock out competition. The League also hosts an annual Individual Championship tournament for players and former players of the Chester & District League. For more information click on the links on the sidebar.

• 27th May 2010 - The C&DL AGM is to be held on 30th June 2010 at Holywell (Steve)
• 17th May 2010 - Congratulations to Wrexham for winning the double and to Buckley/Mold for getting their two teams promoted. New improved version of this site coming soon! (Steve)
• 21st Mar 2010 - Request to all clubs: Please send me a small photograph of your venue and/or a paragraph or two about your club. E.g. a little on your history, maybe a something about your venue (directions, whether you offer tea, etc?). These will be used on an improved site for next season. Email (Steve)
